There is a knock on the door. Mummy enters the study-room,"Rahul, have you finished reading history?", caressing his hair.
"No, I still have to prepare two chapters for tomorrow's exams. Will you prepare tea for me?"
Mummy goes into the kitchen.
Exams- late nights - Moms : Eternal combo which can never ever change whichever century we are in :)

DeleteThat reminds me of my mom. God, I miss the midnight snacks and coffee during the board exams! :'(
ReplyDeleteMe too !! Although the fear of board exams freaked me out at that time, but now looking back, they have become sweet memories !!
DeleteMoms are such darlings. It is their children who appear for the exams, but the amount of effort they put in certainly makes them eligible for a medal or a prize. Since that is not possible, let us do our bit by offering them our gratitude.
