Dance.





Wooden flooring resonates

The rhythmic tap of the stilletoes

the reverberations of the live music in the air.

Sends the adrenaline soaring

patrons have shelled out a fortune

for the drink , dance and drums.

The dancers adorn a mask of

layered colours on their face

to conceal the tears and tragedy.

In return they get paid a dime.
