Moon

The shy bride peeps, frail
behind the diaphanous veil
the kohl lined eyes laden
to reveal her beauty rare
O Moon! Who is fair?
thou or the nubile maiden.

The moon smiles,
"on her face fair
My luminescent air
is reflected bare".
the bride blushes.

The groom radiant and bold
the full bloom, he beholds
"love you my fair bride
till the Moon sails in the sky
all your wishes , thy abide
not a tear or a cry".

The bride , her heena palms
"I  will love and care
inner feeling will share",
and placed in his arms.

Sneaked into the clouds
 "Amen" said the moon, proud
